A Coney Island in my eyes is the second collaboration between photographer Philippe Fontalba and poet Laurent Doucet. After a first exhibition on the spectacular commercial hijacking of the attacks of the World Trade Center, they now turn to the mythical beach of New York, Coney Island. Located in an underestimated poorer neighborhood in the far south of Brooklyn, it is one of the most poetic places in American pop culture, between freak show and surrealism.
